I'm ovixis, founder of HosPet.eu. Ours always includes Eva, my American Staffordshire. From Verona we've taken her to Nice, Lugano and Romania, and every trip taught me the same thing: a place that says "dogs welcome" isn't always a place that wants her.

Hi, I'm ovixis. Eva and I live in Verona.

I'm a freelance creative, and since 2026 I've been working on HosPet full time. Most of what I do happens behind the scenes. I build small things that make travelling with a dog or a cat a bit easier, and I keep hunting for stays that are worth putting on the map.

Too often the dog isn't in the family travel story, because finding a place that really wants her is harder than planning the trip. Leave her at home? No. So I went looking for the places that want the whole family, four legs included. HosPet lists them across 10 countries, each pet policy checked before it goes live: 213 stays in 62 cities as of 17 October 2026.
